La Martina 0390,
Pudahuel, Santiago de Chile

Envases CMF S.A is a leading Chilean company in the manufacture of plastic containers, with more than 30 years of experience and located in the commune of Pudahuel, Envases CMF S.A is today the number one company in the transformation of PET in Chile and supplies its packaging to prestigious companies in the food sector and others.

Its annual production is approximately 30,000 tons/year (more than 1,000 million pieces) and its annual turnover is around 80 million dollars.

The production plant of Envases CMF has a total area of 74,000 m2, with 37,500 m2 of built area.

In the constant search to optimize its processes, reduce its losses and ensure the quality of its products, in 2004 Envases CMF implemented the TPM methodology in its plant, obtaining positive results that today have led it to be a benchmark company for the methodology in the region and achieving the excellence award during 2011.

What is the TPM Method?

Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a continuous improvement system based on a concept of Japanese origin, which focuses on the maintenance and operation of the equipment.

ENNAT's solution

In search of continuous improvement in January 2023 ENNAT Chile installed the first project to protect the Product Storage area Racks with 12 Standard 3-base Barriers and 2 Standard 2-base Barriers, as a result of the good functioning of our products we entered the production area, where we have installed a total of 207 linear meters of Barrier, with a total of 20 purchases in a year and a half to date.

The products that have been installed to date in total linear meters are:

120 Meters of Double Barrier

80 Meters of Standard Barrier

2 GAT85 Door

The interesting thing about this project is that we were replacing the iron protections within the CMF operation, we were generating new pedestrian flows and delimitations, forklift flows and protecting high-value machinery with our barriers. The relevant thing is that 20 purchases have been made starting in 2023 in all months. Together with the support of our experts, new protection zones have been analyzed to continue improving the operation of your plant, to keep your assets safe and, above all, your personnel to avoid accidents, all this with the help of ENNAT's Impact Absorption Technology and Barriers.
