CONTROLLED DEFORMATION

The elastic deformation of the rubber enables gradual deceleration upon impact, thereby preventing the transmission of energy to the supporting structure. This deformation is minimal and does not cause any structural damage.

CERTIFICATIONS

The European Standard FEM 10.2.02 specifies the energy that the protector must absorb without causing damage to the structure.

According to the Standard, a 400N weight must be dropped from a height of one meter onto the protected rack, supported on supports spaced one meter apart.

The deformation of the rack should not exceed 3mm.
